You will not omit any requested information or any information that a reasonable person would consider relevant to the Services you seek.
Decision to not provide Services
Prescription Skin reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any Services to you at any time under circumstances including, but not limited to:
- A Partner Practitioner determines you are clinically ineligible or unsuitable for the Services;

Services provided by Partner Practitioners and Partner Contributors:
Consultations with Partner Practitioners
When you engage in a consultation with a Partner Practitioner, you establish a practitioner-patient treatment relationship with that specific Partner Practitioner. Prescription Skin is not a party to this relationship and bears no liability for any services (including medical advice and medication prescriptions) provided within the scope of that relationship.
Partner Practitioners maintain clinical autonomy and are solely accountable for the healthcare services they deliver to you. This includes adherence to standards of care, record-keeping, other professional obligations, and compliance with relevant privacy laws. Their responsibilities to you are equivalent to those in an in-person consultation.
You acknowledge that the Services do not encompass general medical advice from Partner Practitioners. Instead, they focus on assessing your suitability for the program and providing medical advice and prescriptions specifically related to the Condition. Consequently, you understand that a Partner Practitioner with whom you establish a treatment relationship does not substitute for the role of a general medical practitioner outside the Platform.
Prescription Skin does not guarantee consultations with specific Partner Practitioners. You recognise that a Partner Practitioner may, at their discretion, decline to prescribe medication, issue repeat prescriptions, or provide any other services or referrals you request.
We do not assure that a consultation with a Partner Practitioner is appropriate for you or is the optimal treatment approach for your particular health condition. The Partner Practitioner conducting your consultation will be solely responsible for determining:
- Whether a consultation through the Platform is suitable for you;
- Whether to provide the medical and/or health services you request; and
- What health services, if any, are necessary.
Prescription Skin assumes no responsibility and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the content of any consultation between you and a Partner Practitioner. This includes any medical advice provided, prescriptions given, and/or medicine and/or medical devices supplied by a Partner Practitioner. You and the Partner Practitioner are responsible for the conduct of each consultation and all information or communications exchanged.
Prescriptions issued by Partner Practitioners
A Partner Practitioner may issue a prescription for a specific medicine and/or medical device, including a particular number of repeats, if deemed clinically appropriate. You acknowledge and agree that:
- The decision to issue a prescription (including for compounded medicines or "off-label use") is a clinical decision made at the Partner Practitioner's discretion and with your informed consent.
- The number of repeats included with a prescription is subject to the Partner Practitioner's clinical judgment, considering all relevant circumstances, including the ability to supervise your treatment with the prescribed medicine.
If a Partner Practitioner prescribes a medicine and/or medical device for "off-label use," you recognise that the prescribed use is not listed as an approved indication in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
When a Partner Practitioner prescribes a medicine to be compounded in a pharmacy, you understand that this compounded medicine has not undergone review for safety, quality, or efficacy by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and is not listed in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
You agree that a prescription from a Partner Practitioner does not guarantee the availability of that medicine for dispensing (whether from an Associate Pharmacy or elsewhere). Prescription Skin assumes no responsibility and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability of any medicine prescribed by a Partner Practitioner.
Services provided by Partner Contributors
Certain Partner Contributors, including nurses, pharmacists, dieticians, nutritionists, health coaches, and personal trainers, may offer specialised advice within their respective scopes of practice. This advice may encompass medical guidance, dietary recommendations, and general health and exercise suggestions. However, you acknowledge that such advice is provided exclusively in relation to the Condition.
The responsibility for all information or communications exchanged in connection with any medical advice rests solely with you and the relevant Partner Contributor. This arrangement ensures that:
- Partner Contributors operate within their professional boundaries and expertise.
- Advice is tailored specifically to the Condition being addressed through the Platform.
- You maintain an active role in your healthcare journey by engaging directly with these professionals.
It's important to note that while Partner Contributors offer valuable insights and guidance, their services do not replace the need for comprehensive medical care or override the advice of your primary healthcare provider or relevant medical specialist. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional for personalised medical advice and treatment plans.
General provisions
You acknowledge that Partner Practitioners and Partner Contributors may seek confirmation or clarification of previously provided information, and may request additional details from you. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information to these professionals, and to correct any previously provided information that becomes inaccurate. You understand that providing incorrect information to obtain prescription medicines may constitute a criminal offence.
Partner Practitioners and Partner Contributors will maintain records of each consultation or communication with you. It is their responsibility (where applicable) to keep your clinical and other records as required by law and in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Prescription Skin may hold these records and will maintain them as required by law and in compliance with the Privacy Policy.
If a Partner Practitioner prescribes medication, you must carefully read all information provided via the Platform about that medicine (as well as any information provided by an Associate Pharmacy, if applicable). You must also follow any medical advice given by a Partner Practitioner or Partner Contributor regarding prescribed medicines.
It is your responsibility to inform your general medical practitioner about any medicines or treatments prescribed by our Partner Practitioners. However, if you wish our Partner Practitioners or Partner Contributors to forward such information to your general medical practitioner on your behalf, please inform your Partner Practitioner and provide written consent for us to do so.
You should contact your general medical practitioner immediately if your medical condition changes or your symptoms worsen. You agree that if you experience any noticeable side effects from any medication or treatment received, you will either consult your general medical practitioner or contact us to arrange a further consultation with a Partner Practitioner.
Purchase, dispensing and delivery of medicines prescribed by Partner Practitioners:
Purchase and dispensing of medicines
Prescription Skin is not a pharmacy and does not directly supply pharmacy-only or prescription medicines to patients.
Please note that an Associate Pharmacy and/or Associate Practitioner may decline to dispense your medication for various reasons, including their clinical judgment or medicine unavailability, at their sole discretion.
In cases where an Associate Pharmacy cannot dispense your prescribed medication due to unavailability, your treatment plan may be temporarily suspended.
When an Associate Pharmacy agrees to dispense your medication, you enter into a separate agreement with them for the purchase. Prescription Skin will facilitate this transaction as your agent, including collecting and transferring your payment to the Associate Pharmacy, potentially via an intermediary, on your behalf. For this purpose, you consent to Prescription Skin, your Partner Practitioner, and any Partner Contributor sharing your personal information with the Associate Pharmacy and contacting them on your behalf, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Similarly, you agree to the Associate Pharmacy contacting you (and us) to confirm prescription details for dispensing.
Prescription Skin assumes no responsibility and makes no express or implied warranties regarding the correct dispensing of (or decision to dispense) your medications by an Associate Pharmacy. This includes cases where an Associate Pharmacy compounds a medicine based on a Partner Practitioner's prescription; we do not guarantee the safety, quality, or efficacy of such compounded medicines.
Presently, prescriptions obtained through a Partner Practitioner can only be filled at an Associate Pharmacy. We are unable to send prescriptions issued by your Partner Practitioner to a non-Associate pharmacy.
Delivery of medicines
If an Associate Pharmacy dispenses medication prescribed by a Partner Practitioner, Prescription Skin will coordinate the collection of the medicine from the Associate Pharmacy and its delivery to your specified shipping address via an Associate Courier. By agreeing to this service, you consent to Prescription Skin sharing your personal information with the Associate Courier in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You also agree that the Associate Courier may contact you directly to confirm delivery details.
We may provide you with an estimated delivery timeframe. However, please understand that this is only an estimate and is based on several assumptions:
- The Associate Pharmacy has all necessary information to dispense the prescribed medicine to you and decides to do so at their discretion.
- The Associate Courier has all required information to deliver the prescribed medication to you.
If either the Associate Pharmacy or Associate Courier lacks any required information for dispensing or delivering your medicine, the actual delivery time may differ from the estimate.
It is your responsibility to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to accept delivery of your medicine. Prescription Skin is not liable for the actions of an Associate Courier.
If you notice that your medicine appears damaged, incorrectly dispensed, or if your delivery is delayed, please contact Prescription Skin immediately on help@prescriptionskin.com.au for advice and assistance.
Please note that if your order or subscription is cancelled after your medicine has been dispensed from the Associate Pharmacy, you will still be charged for the medication and refunds will not be available.
Payment for Services:
One-off payments
Our Services can be purchased on a one-off basis. This means that for each purchase, we will conclude a separate contract with you, where you agree to pay the specified fee and we agree to provide the Services as applicable to you. The terms of each contract will be clearly communicated during the order confirmation process.
By agreeing to this contract, you authorise us to charge the payment method you have provided for the full amount of the purchase. The payment will be processed immediately upon confirmation of your order.
The price you see at the time of purchase is the price you will pay. However, we reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our Platforms or when we notify you, and will apply to future purchases only. If you have already paid for Services prior to a price change being published or notified, but have not yet received the Services, you will not be charged any additional amount when you receive them.
All prices listed on our Platforms for the Services are inclusive of GST and shipping costs where relevant.
One-off purchases do not automatically renew. If you wish to purchase our Services again, you will need to place a new order. We may, at our discretion, offer the option to upgrade your one-off purchase to a subscription at a later date. If this option is available, the terms for subscription services will be provided to you at that time.
Subscription payments
Along with the option of purchasing our Services on a one-off basis, Services may also be purchased on an automatically renewing subscription basis. This means that at each subscription interval (usually every 60-days), we will conclude a new contract with you pursuant to which you agree to pay the subscription fee and we agree to provide the Services (as applicable to you). The terms of that contract will be communicated to you during the order confirmation process. By agreeing to this contract, you agree for the payment mechanism you have provided us to be billed at regular intervals. We will give you notice of this in advance of each renewal date, and provide you the opportunity to pause or cancel your subscription before your contract is renewed.
When you conclude a subscription contract with us, the fact that the subscription fee is a particular price (or that any other term provides for particular rights or obligations) does not constitute a representation that renewed contracts with us will contain that subscription fee (or any other term). Accordingly, we may, in our sole discretion, vary the fees and payment terms applying to the Services at any time.
Any change to the fees or payment terms applying to the Services will be immediately effective upon the publication of that change on the Platforms or by otherwise providing notice to you and will apply to the Services requested by you following that change. You will be provided an opportunity to decide not to renew the subscription contract in these circumstances.
If you have booked or paid for Services prior to a change in fees or payment terms being published on the Platform(s) or otherwise notified to you, but have not received the Services prior to that change taking effect, you will not be charged more for the applicable Services at the time you receive them.
All prices listed on the Platforms for the Services are inclusive of GST and shipping costs where relevant.
Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are two ways to cancel your subscription:
- via your Account, by logging in to the Platform; or
- by sending an email to info@prescriptionskin.com.au.
We may also cancel your subscription at any time, at our discretion. If your subscription is cancelled for any reason, you will not be charged for and will not receive future orders under that subscription
General provisions
We will provide you with an invoice for Services provided by us or on our behalf.
As at the date of publication of these Terms, consultations provided via the Platforms by a Partner Practitioner who is a doctor are not eligible for Medicare rebates covered under Medicare, bulk billing is not offered and no Medicare rebate is available.
If you are eligible to claim private health insurance benefits for any Services we provide, or any products or services provided by an Associate Pharmacy, you are responsible for submitting the paid invoice to your insurer to claim any eligible benefits.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your details, including your private health insurance details and any bank account or credit card details to which you would like to receive payments. We disclaim any and all liability for claims or payments which cannot be processed due to incorrect information provided by you.
Refunds, returns and exchanges:
We will only offer refunds for the Services, and will facilitate refunds for any payments made to an Associate Pharmacy, if:
- a Partner Practitioner or Associate Practitioner at an Associate Pharmacy deems you unsuitable for treatment based on their clinical discretion;
- an Associate Pharmacy is unable to dispense a medication due to stock unavailability;
- you cancel your order or subscription by 11:59pm before the applicable order processing date; or
- at any other time — a product, service or pricing error is identified.
If you qualify for a refund, we will process it using the same payment method you used for your original purchase. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds to alternative cards or payment methods.
In the event you cancel a paid subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- Any products that have already been paid for will be delivered as scheduled.
- Exceptions to this policy may be made at our discretion and will be agreed upon at the time of cancellation.
We strive to handle all refunds and cancellations promptly and fairly. If you have any questions or concerns about our refund process or subscription termination, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team.
